Hallelu Worship
English worship songs rooted in Scripture.
Our name
Hallelu is a Hebrew word that means “praise!”. It is a plural command: “all of you, praise!”. It calls a whole community to praise God together. Psalm 113 begins with it three times: “Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD, you his servants; praise the name of the LORD.”
What we do
Hallelu Worship releases English worship songs whose words start from the Bible. Each song is drawn from a specific passage, and we name that passage so you can read it for yourself.
We want these songs to be simple enough for a congregation to sing, and true enough to the text to be worth singing. Recordings stream on the major platforms, and churches can download a free MP3, with lead sheets coming soon.
How we make music
We are open about our process. The lyrics of our first single, “From the Rising Sun”, were written by Alan Wang from Psalm 113, and its music was made with the help of Suno, an AI music tool (credited as “Written by Alan Wang · Music Suno-assisted”).
