“Not to us, LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.” Psalm 115:1 (NIV)
Lyrics by Alan Wang (AI-assisted) · Music Suno-assisted
Based on Psalm 115
Not to us, Lord, not to us
But to Your name be all the praise
For Your faithful love and truth
Stand through every age
Why should the nations ask us
Where our God has gone?
Our God is in the heavens
And all His will is done
Our help and shield, our hope and song
The Lord remembers, all praise belongs
Trust in the Lord, lift up your voice
He is our help, our shield, our joy
Their silver mouths cannot speak
Their golden eyes cannot see
Hands that never reach to help
Feet that cannot lead
Those who make them trust them too
But we will trust the Lord
He is our help and shield forever
Our strength and our reward
Our help and shield, our hope and song
The Lord remembers, all praise belongs
Trust in the Lord, lift up your voice
He is our help, our shield, our joy
House of Israel, trust the Lord
House of Aaron, trust His name
All who honor Him, trust the Lord
He is your help and shield the same
The Lord remembers all His people
And blesses all who fear His name
From the least to greatest, He is faithful
His promise stands through every age
May the Lord increase your blessing
May His kindness fill your days
He made the heavens and the earth
And still we sing His praise
The heavens are the Lord’s above
The earth He gave to us
The living praise His name today
We’ll praise Him and trust
Our help and shield, our hope and song
The Lord remembers, all praise belongs
Trust in the Lord, lift up your voice
He is our help, our shield, our joy
We will bless the Lord forever
From this day and evermore
We will bless the Lord forever
Praise the Lord!
